Core capabilities.
Forging
Closed-die, hot, domestic. Forged components to print on a 3500-6000 ton National Maxipress line.
Precision Machining
Engineering-led CNC turning, milling, drilling, grinding, gear shaping and broaching.
Heat Treatment
Induction hardening, normalize, quench & temper, stress relieve and salt bath — all in-house.
Engineering & Design
Die design, tooling, design for manufacturability (DFM) support and light sub-assembly across every line.
Torsion Bar Production
The only domestic producer of every U.S. Army torsion bar variant in active service.
Track Design & Manufacturing
Full track-shoe assembly to platform drawings, with proprietary in-house die design.
Third-Party Logistics (3PL)
Warehousing, readiness support and aftermarket spares through AMZ Defense Systems.
Packaging, Kitting & Light Assembly
Bulk and single-item packaging to DLA / TACOM Mil-Std, plus production-line kitting and light assembly.

Surge & mobilization.
AMZ has mobilized for national defense surge twice since 1990 — during Operation Desert Shield / Desert Storm, and again during Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Anniston campus has demonstrated the capacity to scale to wartime volume without outside tooling or offshore supply.
